There Is No Destination

As I type this I'm watching #podsessions episode 4 with GaryVee, !llmind, Hannah Bronfman, and Nik Stauskas and it dawned on me that I should start my own blog. So here it is, unpolished & not over thought of is where my thoughts on my journey as an artist will lay.

A little background for those of you that don't know who I am, my name is Shaymon & I make music, go here for details. I'm also a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force. In 2013, while stationed in South Korea, I brought a notepad along with all of my gear to post everyday which was totally against the rules but whatever and I started using the notepad to write songs. Fast-forward to 2018, alot has changed in those five years. Since then I've traveled to 6 countries, dropped 2 mixtapes, released 6 singles, released 4 music videos, I got married & had a kid. I know you're thinking so what? Well, during that time I had several experiences and learned a few things. I'm no expert yet, this is only the beginning for me. But that doesn't mean I can't document the journey with you all so we can both see how this plays out. I hope this blog helps other artists, creatives, and people in general. It will be personal, informative, and truthful. I just wanna empower those around me while also bringing value to your life...so get ready!
